PRAGUE (AP) â" Braving a frozen cold, thousands of Czechs bid a personal farewell Monday to former President Vaclav Havel, who led a pacific series that defeated a comrade regime in 1989.
The mourners waited patiently in a prolonged line in front of a Prague Crossroads during a city's Old Town, where a coffin with Havel's physique went on arrangement Monday. Many were carrying flowers to honour Havel, who died Sunday during age 75.
