Stainless steel hood

The Broan stainless steel hood is great. the other day it turned on automatically when the stovetop got to a certain temperature and then shut itself off when it had cooled. Great feature. Would recommend.

Great range vent at reasonable price point

We purchased a new construction that did not include a range hood vent and my wife had wanted one since we moved in. After reviewing what was on offer at both Lowes and Home Depot, i was dissatisfied with the selections ranging from $100-200. I looked online at other options and found that custom vents ranged from about $1200 to $2500 which didn't seem worth the value. Amazon offered a few options in between the $100 vents and the $1200 vents. The Broan 894204 fit in stylistically with the rest of our kitchen and seemed to be at the right price and value point for what we wanted. It was shipped before the estimated date, arrived in good order, and was easy to install. We've only had it installed for a few weeks so i can't speak to durability or reliability but we like the functionality and it appears well-constructed.
