Brand New Old Friend

I was surfing on Amazon the other night and stumbled upon this watch. For some reason the blue one is less expensive than the other colors so that was a little score because it's the one I wanted anyways. Some other reviews complain about the accuracy. Mine is too new to comment on that and I honestly don't care about that as I can just look at my phone if I need the EXACT time. Plus or minus a few minutes and the occasional reset are fine with me as I just like the way it looks and watching the automatic movement. The aesthetics are nearly perfect in my eyes and better in person than in the picture.

The strap is nylon, not canvas but that's probably better for durability. It's a Seiko so I trust it to be around for a long time. I'm just curious to see how it will age and if it will scratch easily. At this price, I can't complain or expect much but I'm still going to be hopeful. I tend to write reviews for only items that I'm quite fond of. I've bought alot of things on Amazon but only reviewed a handful of items. That should tell you how happy I am!

Lastly, it's comes in a very nice box if you're planning on giving this as a gift.

great watch with classic styling

Just received the watch this week and love it so far. Nice looking timepiece and a great value. The band is a bit too casual for me and I didn't like the material; but it is functional. I purchased a replacement band of solid navy leather. It really dressed up the watch.

fantastic value, elegant and sophisticated

Can't go wrong with this timepiece if you are reading this review. Obviously, it is not a big expensive watch, but the price should tell you that. Putting that aside, what unbelievable quality and beauty from a watch under $100, and automatic 21-jewel movement as well!

This is a fantastic everyday watch, it's not heavy, bulky, hard to read, or overly flashy. At the same time, the brushed casing and royal blue coloring on the watch face and matching band look great with almost any outfit combination. As I said in the subject, simply great value for money.
