Album Description
Sugar's Boogaloo, was a Sugarman Three's entrance album. Since it's initial recover on Desco Records scarcely 10 years ago, it has grown to be a sought after classical among funk, soul, and organ-jazz enthusiasts. It's tender organ-driven grooves are model of a early proviso of a rope that would turn a tack on a stage and are a ideal backdrop for a summer grill or a late-night hang.

Great band, fine CD
By Misterian
If we are a fan of despondency "revival," we can't do most improved than a Sugarman Three. They are super-funky, and unequivocally authentic. This CD however, is usually okay. First of all, it could be longer. Some of their covers sound unimaginative, generally "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag." There are some clever songs and moments here, nonetheless we unequivocally cite their CD, "Pure Cane Sugar," a genuine masterpiece!

first LP in a line of albums that get improved and better
By Tim Fassnacht
when i initial bought this manuscript i was a small bummed out. being a non required record buyer, i buy things in non-sequential order, definition i got a final dual sugarman 3 before their first. a final dual albums to me are a illusory instance of what Daptone and co. have to offer. so a initial integrate times listening i neglected a fact this is a rope thats classical and their capturing that classical soul-jazz sound, roughly partially to lou donaldson, or hermit jack mcduff. this manuscript unequivocally grew on me, and i figured id try to see what other though, and all i listened was that it sounded like "elevator" music. so to a listener who isnt informed to a roots of this album, maybe cannot suffer this. If we dont wish to have to do alittle investigate before shopping this CD or LP, id advise operative your approach backwards, and hopefully youll wanna hear where these artist started off. or only skip it and go directly in an conflicting instruction to Budos Band I. positively no disappointments whatsoever there. The Budos Band
